Dear Friends at Plymouth CRAFT:
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Staff of the Plymouth Public Library Foundation it is both an honor and privilege to be handed the baton and responsibility to ensure that Plymouth CRAFT lives on.
Plymouth CRAFT has made remarkable strides in restoring traditional crafts to
its rightful place at the forefront of our historic understanding of handwork and reminding people of the artistry inherent in each piece created. We are proud to promote the cultural significance of traditional handwork and look forward to welcoming many talented individuals working to ensure these traditions both continue and flourish.
Plymouth Public Library Foundation’s mission is to ensure that Plymouth Public Library has the resources it needs to provide exemplary services to patrons. Funds we raise and those we steward provide for technology upgrades, financial support of the Library Literacy Program, the care and maintenance of the Library’s expansive grounds and gardens and supplemental cultural and enrichment programming, free of charge, for patrons of all ages. The fund established in the name of Plymouth CRAFT will become one of the wonderful ways we provide patrons with programming that will provide fun, educational and enlightening lectures, demonstrations and classes while keeping Plymouth CRAFT’s name and purpose in place for generations to come.
Thank you for entrusting Plymouth CRAFT’s future to the Plymouth Public Library. We welcome this opportunity and look forward to introducing many wonderful programs in the years to come.
Sincerely,
William Petrillo
President, Board of Trustees
Plymouth Public Library Foundation
