German Holiday Baking with Kirsten Atchison
One of our most poplar-and delicious—workshops!
Kirsten Atchison will lead you, hands-on, through a full afternoon baking traditional German Christmas treats. You will bake a Dresdner Stollen, Zimtsterne (cinnamon stars), and Vanillekipferl (vanilla crescents).
Along the way, Kirsten, a German native and passionate baker, will discuss the history of those time-honored recipes (which date back to the Middle Ages) and some lesser-known food traditions of Germany’s favorite holiday.
Each participant will take home a Dresdner Stollen and samples of each of the cookies.
